A date...

Yes, we had our 3rd date in 10 months!! YIPEEEE!! What a blast! My mom came into town (another blog about that to come) and volunteered to watch Brylee so we could go on a much needed date. So...the arguments became what do we do on this precious, rare date. Brian wanted to go see a movie and have dinner. I didn't want to waste the 'alone' time with a movie that we can rent in a few months. I wanted to talk! So Brian, so kindly let me decide what to do for this date. We got home, loved on Brylee and then headed back out. Brian suggested Chilis, so off we went for some bottomless chips and salsa!! Mmmmm!!! It was a wonderful time of uninterrupted conversation. It's interesting though, that during the beginning of the date...we almost had to detox and figure out what to talk about. We have plenty to say to each other but man at the beginning of the date you wouldn't have known so.
So we get done with dinner and head to Walmart to pick up some tubs. We were in and out of the store in minutes! I forgot how quickly we can do things:) We actually got to just walk around Walmart looking at camping gear, bikes and new toys for our dear Brylee.

WELL...the best part of our date, was playing racquetball. YES!! We played this when we first got married and had a blast. Well this was no different. We played and laughed about how out of shape we are.So the best part was when Brian served the ball and I went to hit it back, and pegged the ball right at the back of his neck! Oh my gosh! I have not laughed that hard in forever! But all in all it was a perfect date!! By the end, we were like little kids...sad to go home but so thankful for the time we had just the 2 of us (and a hot meal for me:) Thanks mom for the date!!

For my college graduation present, Brian bought me a bracelet from Tiffany and CO. Well I decided I wanted to make it into a charm bracelet to collect special memories on. Well, for my baby gift for Brylee, Brian gave me the little B charm. What a special little gift.

Well my first day of PD (professional development) I noticed the lock had come off, but was still on the bracelet. I locked it back on and didn't think twice about it.

Well I got home that night and it was gone...I cried my eyes out. I knew it was material possessions...but it was the meaning behind the piece of jewelry...not the jewelry itself.

2 days later I was vacuuming and moved one of Brylee's seats and there it was, laying right underneath it. Well I started screaming in excitement...and tucked it away until I could get it soldered.

It took a couple weeks to get down to Green Hills Mall and then they had to send it to New York...well yesterday Brian went and picked it up...its like a new piece of jewelry! I love it!

I know that this was just a little something that has no earthly good but during this whole process I realize one thing...He cares about me...even the "little things" in my life.

a First year birthday party....already??

Well the party planning has begun! Whewww!! This is tooo much fun! I don't think it has really hit me yet and I have been forewarned...that this will be a great milestone with quite possibly some tears!

But until it hits, I just keep planning! We have decided to go with a cowgirl theme and oh boy...it will be just precious.

My sweet husband did some computer work last weekend and got paid, He handed his hard earned cash to me and let me buy this...
